- Unless you have some special serial card, a 230,000 baud rate isn't
- possible. With the standard clock, if you set the UART's software clock
- divisor to 1, the baud rate will be 115,200. I have no idea how W95 is
- expecting to obtain those high rates with standard clocks and UART's.

- I have a SIO card that offers a selectable x10 clock and it will work
- with the divisor set to 2, or 576,000 baud. These setting are used
- strictly for non-modem type applications .

- I'd bet that W95 is just setting the UART's divisor to 1 for all rates
- of 115,200 or higher. I don't know how you expected your modem to lock
- up at any faster DTE speeds.
